Supply Coordinator Benelux (Rotterdam)

Formal authorities

·       Place internal purchase orders as well as purchase orders to subcontractors and suppliers

·       Initiate customer deliveries by communicating to dispatch department or service provider

 

Main responsibilities

·       Ensure there is continuous communication on the availability and lead times of products with Customer Service, transport, warehouse, expediting and procurement department

·       Continuous follow up on quotes and orders with sub-status ‘Awaiting approval’

·       Process orders including non-available items:

o    Order non-available items

o    Maintain ETA dates for incoming PO’s

o    Receive PO’s supporting an order

·         Process shipments:

o    Add relevant charges if applicable

o    Print pick lists for warehouse if required

o    Report picking if required

o    Scan Delivery Notes when applicable

o    Create invoice for closed orders

·       Supply Customer Service with necessary information concerning delivery status of orders i.e. charges, delays, availability etc.

·       Provide complete and updated information to Dispatch Coordinator concerning time and place of delivery

·       Prepare cost pricing information towards final invoicing of service performed

·       Maintain required control reports and documentation

·       Assist other departments as needed on stock orders and purchase orders

·       Any other responsibility put forward by Supply Operation Manager not covered by this FD (within reasonable limits)

Accountabilities

This position will be measured against:

·       KPIs according to Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

·       According to Accountability matrix in GIMS

 

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements

·       Higher vocational education or Bachelor degree

·       Prior experience as Supply Coordinator or similar position in a warehouse

·       Very good command of the English language (spoken and written)

·       Good computer skills with Excel knowledge

·       Ability to travel when required. Maintain a valid passport

·       Ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environment

·       Ability to work under pressure and ability to work on own initiative

·       Ability to work independently as well as in a team

·       Ability to work outside normal business working hours

·       Ability to co-operate across organization lines internally and towards customers

·       Systematic and accurate nature

·         Plan inventory

·         Purchase inventory

·         Quote order

·         Deliver products


Work location will be Rotterdam.
