Sales Support Coordinator (Area)

 

Purpose

Take a lead role in designing and implementing data-driven marketing and promotional campaigns in collaboration with other team members. Assist with data collection, analysis, and presentation of marketing materials, results, and new business opportunities. Assist in maintaining, creating, and delivering accurate business data. Assist with managing sales processes and compliance.

 

Interrelations

The Sales Support Coordinator reports to the Sales Analytics & Support Manager

 

Formal authorities

Has the authority to act within this Functional Description and within the chart of authority as outlined in the company’s Global Integrated Management System (GIMS)

 

Main responsibilities

  • Lead data-driven marketing and promotional campaigns to boost sales in targeted segments.

  • Collect and curate data on products, segments, customers, and market data to support department projects & provide sales and customer performance analysis (past) as well as forward-looking analysis (forecasting) using internal and external variables.

  • Assist Sales Support admin in replenishment and distribution of printed WSS sales literature

  • Assist Sales Support admin in organizing sales training workshops & exhibitions

  • Assist in data analytics and modelling projects to inform management decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Coordinate credit checks on new customers, current customers renewing deals / signing deals for new WSS offer, and at least once per annum

  • Assist with the maintenance and revision of live dashboards – used both globally and in the Area - for Sales analysis, business reviews, consumption reports, and special projects

  • Maintain customer, vessel, and contact data together with the Sales Support admin.

  • Manage customer complaints / non-compliance through IP / CRM in a timely manner.

 

Accountabilities

The position will be measured against:

  • Account sales growth and contribution
  • Quantity and quality of contributions to Sales Organization and supporting our Sales Strategy
  • Sales efficiency
  • Feedback from account managers, CS, and other internal customers of Sales Support.

  • Accuracy and insightfulness of analysis work

 

Main Qualifications

  • B.A., B.S., AS degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or another relevant field (extremely relevant experience may be substituted for a degree under some circumstances)

  • Excellent communication skills, presentations skills, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with Excel (sumifs, conditional formatting, Power Query, vlookups, analysis pack, etc) an absolute must.

  • Knowledge of analytical and data manipulation software (e.g. R Studio, Power Query, Power BI, Knime) a strong plus, but not required.

  • Exposure to Salesforce.com helpful, but not required.

  • Excellent ability to create visually appealing presentations using Power Point, Sway, etc.

  • An intuitive sense of how to design and implement effective advertising and marketing

  • Proactive, takes responsibility and deliver results

  • Team player and able to present oneself professionally to customers, both internal and external.

  • Highly structured

  • Result oriented

  • Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
