Supply Coordinator



The supply coordinator ensures that orders from our customer service centers are handled correctly, in a timely fashion and that customer center demands are met and communicated in an efficient and professional manner.



The position reports to the Supply & Dispatch Supervisor, liaisons with Warehouse Operatives, Customer Service, Dispatchers, and 3rd party agents.


Formal Authorities


Place purchase orders in-house as well as to subcontractors and 3rd party suppliers

Acts within this functional description and our Global Integrated Management System (GIMS)


Main Responsibilities

Essential Functions


Ensures there is continuous communication on the availability and lead times of products with customer service, transport, warehouse, and logistics department

Checks order status first thing every morning and throughout the entire day

Processes the order

-Checks Negative Projected Availability looking for orders which needs completion

-Orders all non-available items

-Receives PO’s supporting an Order

-Scan Delivery notes & ensures scanned

-Invoice close orders

-Sends Order Lists to 3rd Party AGents

Supply customer service with necessary information concerning delivery status of orders i.e charges delays, availability etc.

Prepares cost pricing information towards final invoicing of service performed

Monitoring IFS8 daily

Maintains required control reports and documentation

It is focal point for communication with own wareohouses and 3rd party agents

Assist other departments as needed on stock orders and purchase orders

When on duty for weekends and holiday carries a cellular phone and laptop for remote access

Sends the new orders to 3rd party agents in Argentina and Uruguay on a daily basis





This position will be measured against:

Timely responses and communications with other business units

Accuracy of quotations, lead times and timely and efficient delivery of goods

Accountability to advise warehouse of any stock inconsistencies

Mandatory requirements

Currently studying on an University or holding an University Degree

Prior experience as Supply Coordinator or similar position in logistics

Very good command of the English language (spoken and written)

Very Good Command of Spanish Language (Spoken and Writen)

Good computer skills with Excel knowledge

Ability to travel when required. Maintains a valid passport

availability to works nights and weekends if necessary

Ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environment

Ability to work under pressure and ability to work on own initiative

Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Ability to co-operate across organization lines internally and towards customers

Systematic and accurate nature

Confirming ability to deliver; plan inventory; purchase inventory; quote order; deliver products
